A hard cover edition with brown boards, gilt lettering and and black panel on spine. There is significant foxing and toning throughout but the text and black and white illustrations are clear and legible. There is a black ink inscription on the title page. There is rubbing and chipping to the edges and front and back boards. Pages 163-172 partially detached.
