A children’s large-format early 20th century sweetly illustrated story picture-book about Charlotte, Bobby and Baby Jean as they go through their day. Artist Janet Laura Scott (1888-1968) both authored and illustrated a variety of children’s titles and served as illustrator alone for others. Her work has often been framed decoratively and is of the Art Deco style.

A paperback edition circa 1920s-1930s with vibrant colour illustrations throughout. The text is legible but there is some foxing and toning throughout the book, including the front and back cover and edges. The book has stapled binding and there is rubbing and wear to the edges and spine of the book. There is also an ink inscription on the top left-hand corner of the inside front cover of the book. Published by The Saalfield Pub Co., No 863 in a series.
